Global Chairman & CEO

Much has changed in the marketing and communications landscape since I launched The Talent Business in 2007, but the need to attract and retain leaders capable of driving business transformation has never been so integral to delivering growth and sustainable commercial success. The Talent Business has hubs in London, New York, Los Angeles, Singapore, Shanghai, Dubai, Berlin and Sao Paulo, and has established itself as the world leader in executive search for businesses fueled by innovation and creativity. We build leadership teams and secure senior talent across all marketing and communications disciplines for a broad range of brand owners, tech platforms, communications agency groups and consultancies. As Global CEO, I have first-hand experience of identifying and securing leaders capable of driving business transformation - globally and in key markets around the world. I also work with agency groups on their acquisition strategies, and advise brand owners on the selection of agency partners.

Global Managing Director,
Tech & Innovation

Having completed a Law degree, I took a junior role in a publishing business whilst deciding on the career direction I wanted to take. It was a unique time, when the first wave of digital businesses were starting to establish themselves, causing immediate and significant changes across entire industries and generating a need for innovative talent, which has never dissipated. I was approached to join what was the first specialist, digital recruitment business and found myself helping to structure and staff the nascent UK teams of the likes of Amazon, Microsoft, AOL, eBay, as well as the first digital creative and communications agencies. Nurturing, advising and helping to choreograph talent, both within and for the creative sector has been part of my career ever since. In that time, I’ve built and lead cross-functional talent acquisition teams, lead staffing and talent strategy for leading digital/creative agencies - most recently AKQA. I also ran my own consultancy business, focused on helping clients to digitise structure, talent and output. The key to the sustained success of so many companies is the alignment of transformational talent with business and growth strategy - and I continue to find it a pleasure and privilege to advise and partner with stand-out people and great businesses in order to help both realise their ambitions. The Talent Business now has hubs in London, Berlin, New York, Los Angeles, Singapore, Shanghai, Dubai and Sao Paulo, and has established itself as the world leader in executive search for creative businesses so is perfectly placed for me to do this. My other passions are sports - particularly skiing/squash/running, watching Arsenal and being a dad.

European Head of Business & Marketing

My fifteen years in advertising spanned agencies such as WCRS, RKCR/Y&R and CHI where I was lucky enough to run award winning campaigns for the likes of M&S, The Times and Sunday Times, Land Rover and TalkTalk. I mixed up my time in advertising to pursue different passions: completing a post grad in periodical journalism, Marketing Manager at the start up, pitching advertiser funded programming at ITV and having my two sons – my most daunting role so far. At The Talent Business I look after mid weight to senior client services talent; from salary and promotion advice to placing transformational talent in agency and client-side roles.

European Head of Creative & Design

I spent my youth harbouring ambitions to become many things, a rugby player, an actor, a musician, unfortunately for one reason or another, be it ability or application, I was unable to make these goals a reality. It was ability by the way. Having always had a great interest in advertising and branding, I was keen to find the best way in, and with my creative streak leading the way, I found the relevant door.

Partner, Business & Marketing

I started my career in magazine publishing, working across editorial and sales on a range of key titles for MacMillan. My avid interest in the media and entertainment industries led me to embark on a career recruiting for TV, music, tech and publishing businesses at a boutique agency, heading up its Marketing and eCommerce division and managing key accounts including Google, Penguin Random House and Universal Music. I have been focused on executive search, hiring marketing and eCommerce leaders into consumer tech start-ups across the UK and Europe. Joining The Talent Business as a Partner within our Marketing Practice has allowed me to consolidate this experience alongside a continued fascination with creative businesses. Away from the office, music is my all consuming passion, but I occasionally allow for comedy, film or art to take centre stage when the mood dictates.

Partner, Strategy & Customer Experience

I started out in Production, back when Clearcast was the BACC, press ads were sent via ISDN and social media was Friends Reunited. I was an account handler at Ogilvy on Pfizer and Nestle when boot cut jeans were on their way out and Facebook and Twitter were on their way in. When digital exploded and iPods were still a thing, I worked at creative boutique Farm on UK government campaigns and Goodfella’s pizza. In 2013 when I joined The Talent Business and Emoji became a global language, our client base was already reflecting the industry’s expansion into new creative territories. Now, I partner an ever-evolving mix of creative businesses, including communications agencies, brand owners, tech platforms, start-ups and consultancies, helping them to secure game changing senior strategists with diverse skillsets and backgrounds.

Executive Assistant to Gary Stolkin

Having graduated from London College of Fashion and settling myself in London, I naturally felt the city and the creative industries were going to be for me. I joined The Talent Business in 2017 and have grown my knowledge and understanding of the sector since then. In January 2019 I became EA to Gary Stolkin. I have a passion for travelling and love discovering new cities, countries, islands and ski resorts. All this stems from living in South Africa and the USA when I was a child. If I am not travelling, I am trying the new best places to eat and drink with family and friends.
