I joined the advertising industry as a graduate at DMB&B London working on Procter & Gamble, Mars and Coca-Cola internationally. At Leo Burnett London I ran Fiat UK and the Department for Transport account, winning the creative flagship Drink Drive, Teenage Road Safety and Climate Change assignments. I was promoted to Leo Burnett's Management Board in 2004, taking the role of Head of Account Management, running a 75-strong department. My remit included the acquisition and retention of top talent. I have also been responsible for chairing and mentoring a number of the UK’s Institute for Practitioners of Advertising (IPA) training programmes and events. I joined The Talent Business in 2007 as Global Head of Talent Search, in 2009 I became European Managing Director, and I took the lead of our “client side” European Marketing practice in March 2011.
